Triumph is a Canadian hard-rock band formed in Toronto in 1975 by guitarist and vocalist Rik Emmett, drummer and vocalist Gil Moore, and bassist and keyboardist Mike Levine. Known for melodic arena rock, virtuosic musicianship, and elaborate concert production, the group built its reputation with songs including “Lay It on the Line,” “Hold On,” “Magic Power,” “Fight the Good Fight,” “Somebody’s Out There,” and “Rock & Roll Machine,” along with albums such as Just a Game, Allied Forces, Never Surrender, and Thunder Seven. Triumph has earned numerous Gold and Platinum certifications and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and Canada’s Walk of Fame.
