Trường Vũ is a Vietnamese-American singer known for nhạc vàng, bolero, and sentimental Vietnamese popular music, particularly songs centered on romance, separation, hardship, and the lives of soldiers. Born Huỳnh Văn Ngoảnh in southern Vietnam, he settled in the United States in the 1980s and became a prominent voice in the overseas Vietnamese music scene, recording extensively for labels and entertainment companies including Phượng Hoàng, Tình, Asia Entertainment, Vân Sơn, and Thúy Nga. His best-known recordings include “Không Giờ Rồi,” “Nhớ Người Yêu,” “Xua Đi Huyền Thoại,” “Thành Phố Buồn,” “Đám Cưới Nghèo,” and “Con Đường Mang Tên Em,” and he has frequently recorded duets with singers including Như Quỳnh and Mai Thiên Vân. His extensive catalog includes albums such as Hạnh Phúc Đơn Sơ, Nó Và Tôi, Tình Ca Lính, Kiếp Đỏ Đen, Ly Rượu Đắng Cay, and Nhật Ký Đời Tôi.
