Visions of Atlantis is an Austrian symphonic metal band formed in Styria in 2000, known for combining cinematic orchestration, power-metal guitar work, and the contrasting vocals of Clémentine Delauney and Michele Guaitoli. Inspired by the mythology of Atlantis, the group later developed a sweeping pirate-themed identity across albums including The Deep & the Dark, Wanderers, Pirates, and Pirates II – Armada. Its best-known songs include “Clocks,” “Master the Hurricane,” “Legion of the Seas,” “Melancholy Angel,” “Monsters,” and “Hellfire.” The band expanded the Armada era with the live album Armada Live Over Europe and the orchestral reinterpretation Armada – An Orchestral Voyage.
