Wednesday 13 is the stage name of American singer, songwriter and musician Joseph Poole, known for a horror-punk and heavy-metal style that mixes macabre imagery, glam-rock attitude and a dark sense of humor. He first built a cult following with Frankenstein Drag Queens from Planet 13 before becoming the frontman and principal songwriter of Murderdolls alongside Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, recording albums including Beyond the Valley of the Murderdolls and Women and Children Last. His solo catalog includes Transylvania 90210: Songs of Death, Dying, and the Dead, Calling All Corpses, Monsters of the Universe: Come Out and Plague, Necrophaze, Horrifier and Mid Death Crisis, with signature songs including “Bad Things,” “I Walked with a Zombie,” “Look What the Bats Dragged In,” “What the Night Brings” and “In Misery.”
