Whitechapel is an American deathcore band from Knoxville, Tennessee, known for their intense and aggressive sound. Formed in 2006 by vocalist Phil Bozeman and guitarist Ben Savage, the band has maintained a consistent lineup with the exception of drummer Brandon Zackey, who replaced the original drummer in 2014. Whitechapel has released nine studio albums and over twenty music videos, with their 2010 album "A New Era of Corruption" debuting at No. 43 on the Billboard 200. Their self-titled fourth album in 2012 and fifth album "Our Endless War" in 2014 both received positive reviews and chart success. The band's 2016 release "Mark of the Blade" and 2019's "The Valley" continued to garner critical acclaim, with the latter debuting at No. 143 on the Billboard 200. Their most recent album, "Hymns in Dissonance," was released in 2025, solidifying their place in the deathcore genre.
