Zoé is a Mexican alternative-rock band formed in the late 1990s, known for combining psychedelic rock, synth-pop, Britpop, and atmospheric electronic textures with León Larregui’s distinctive vocals and romantic, introspective lyrics. The group became one of the defining acts of modern rock en español through albums including Rocanlover, Memo Rex Commander y el Corazón Atómico de la Vía Láctea, Reptilectric, Prográmaton, Aztlán, and Sonidos de Karmática Resonancia, along with songs such as “Labios Rotos,” “Vía Láctea,” “Soñé,” “Love,” “Nada,” “Azul,” and “Arrullo de Estrellas.” Their MTV Unplugged: Música de Fondo earned two Latin Grammy Awards, while Aztlán won the Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock, Urban or Alternative Album.
