Brad Garrett is an American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, producer, and comedy club owner best known for playing Robert Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond. A three-time Primetime Emmy winner, Garrett began as a stand-up comic in Los Angeles clubs and became one of the youngest comedians to perform on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson after winning the comedy category on Star Search. His career spans television, film, voice acting, Broadway, books, touring stand-up, and Brad Garrett’s Comedy Club at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, where he continues to bring old-school comedy room energy to the Strip.
