HUGEL built his name on a dancefloor-first style shaped by Latin house, Mediterranean influence, and a sound designed to move big rooms without losing personality. Raised in Marseille, he came up surrounded by funk, disco, and soul before getting into DJing on vinyl at 16. Over time, those roots mixed with influences like Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Daft Punk, Amine Edge, and David Guetta, leading to a house sound shaped by Ibiza and broader Mediterranean culture, with Latin, oriental, and tribal rhythms at its core.
