Spotlight Summary
The IUEC Global Safety Summit is an inaugural event hosted by the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) focused on improving jobsite safety and strengthening safety cultures across the vertical transportation industry. It brings together tradespeople, union leadership, employers, manufacturers, safety professionals, inspectors, and owners from around the world. Sessions cover education, sharing of best practices in safety, and collaboration between labor and management — including updates on the IUEC's partnership with OSHA and industry organizations such as NEII, NAEC, and ECA — with the overarching goal of reducing jobsite risk and working toward zero fatalities.
