The Thomas & Mack Center is a multi-purpose arena located on the UNLV campus, hosting various events including basketball games and NBA Summer League.

Maximum seating capacity of 19,522 for boxing and 18,776 for basketball. The concourse spans 42,000 sq ft. The facility has 30 VIP luxury suites and hosts more than 250 events annually.

Getting to Thomas and Mack Center

Arrival Strategy

The arena is located on the UNLV campus, less than 5 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. The box office is on the southwest side of the building. Guests needing special assistance may be dropped off at the main entrance. Escalators are available outside the arena and Strip View Pavilion.

The 35,000-sq-ft Strip View Pavilion, added as part of the 2016 $72.5 million modernization, is a multi-purpose facility on the west side of the building that can host meetings, private events, and fan activations. The complex also includes the adjacent Cox Pavilion, directly connected to the main arena.

  • In the upper 200-level, rows A and B along the sidelines have a glass railing that can cut through sightlines; aim for row E or higher to clear it.
  • The Strip View Pavilion has its own entry, bathrooms, and escalator, so it can host functions independently even when a separate event is happening inside the main arena.
  • Assistive listening devices are available for guests with hearing impairments at the Guest Relations Booth on the main concourse near section 116 (portal 36).
  • No outside food or beverages, audio recorders, or flash photography are permitted inside the arena.
