Tape Face is the stage name of Sam Wills, a New Zealand-born comedian, mime, and prop artist known for silent comedy built around physical humor, music, audience participation, and quirky props. Wearing thick black tape across his mouth, he creates a style that feels like stand-up without talking.
He rose to international attention as a finalist on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent in 2016 and later appeared on America’s Got Talent: The Champions. Trained as a clown with experience in magic, Wills developed Tape Face as a visual comedy character that blends vaudeville-style performance with modern, offbeat humor.
