The American Rodeo West Regionals is part of a national rodeo series in which competitors advance through three Regional Finals — East, Central, and West — culminating in a Championship Weekend. The West Regionals at South Point Arena feature eight disciplines: bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, bull riding, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, barrel racing, team roping, and breakaway roping. The Saturday night Finals are nationally televised on a Fox station and showcase the top ten athletes who advanced from the Regional Semi-Finals, plus three athletes who earned a spot through the Redemption Round. Top finishers from the West Regionals will advance to The American Rodeo Semi-Finals, where $360,000 in prize money will be awarded.
