Jazz Outreach Initiative’s Jazz Vegas Orchestra, a professional 18-piece big band made up of some of the region’s most acclaimed jazz musicians, welcomes Grammy-nominated trumpeter Wayne Bergeron as featured guest. Bergeron is widely regarded as one of the most sought-after lead trumpet players in the world, known for his work with Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band and his extensive film and television soundtrack credits. The program includes a special tribute to the music of Gordon Goodwin.
