The Las Vegas Philharmonic opens its 2026-2027 season with a symphonic celebration of Studio Ghibli, featuring conductor and Music Director Rei Hotoda leading the orchestra through the richly imaginative and cinematic music of legendary composer Joe Hisaishi. Audiences of all ages can expect an expressive and joyful concert experience drawn from Hisaishi’s iconic scores for Hayao Miyazaki’s beloved animated films, including works such as My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, and Princess Mononoke.

Rei Hotoda conducts the Las Vegas Philharmonic in a magical evening of Studio Ghibli scores at acoustically stunning Reynolds Hall.
