Spotlight Summary
Cameron Mackintosh’s revitalized production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera brings the iconic musical to Las Vegas as part of The Smith Center’s 2026–2027 Toyota Broadway Las Vegas Series, featuring Isaiah Bailey as The Phantom, Jordan Lee Gilbert as Christine Daé, and Daniel Lopez as Raoul. Based on the acclaimed 2021 London revival at His Majesty’s Theatre, this full-length touring production features a 38-person cast and a 14-musician orchestra performing Lloyd Webber’s celebrated score — including Music of the Night, All I Ask of You, and Masquerade — alongside Maria Björnson’s original designs and theatrical effects including the legendary chandelier. The story follows a disfigured musical genius who haunts the depths of the Paris Opera House, tutoring a young soprano while his obsession sets the stage for a dramatic collision of love and jealousy.
The Phantom of the Opera turns Reynolds Hall into an intimate theater for a hauntingly beautiful Broadway experience downtown.
