Penn & Teller is a landmark comedy-magic production performed in the duo’s dedicated theater at Rio Hotel & Casino. The show pairs Penn Jillette’s rapid-fire commentary with Teller’s largely silent performance style, combining large-scale illusions, sleight of hand, audience participation and deliberately provocative humor. Their routines frequently challenge traditional ideas about magic, sometimes revealing part of a method before creating an even more surprising result. Penn & Teller began performing together in 1975 and established their Rio residency in 2001, becoming the longest-running headliners in Las Vegas history. Although the production includes signature routines developed throughout their career, they continue introducing new material and creative variations.
