B Side at House of Blues

Did You Know

B Side is a smaller, more intimate bar and lounge space within the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay, designed to offer a relaxed alternative to the main music hall.

Est. 1999

On-Property Draw

The resort features Shark Reef, a 1.3-million-gallon aquarium containing over 2,000 animals including sharks and a rare golden crocodile, as well as Mandalay Bay Beach — an 11-acre aquatic playground with a wave pool, lazy river, and real sand described as the only beach of its kind in Las Vegas.

5 tips

  • B Side runs a rotating lineup of DJs and live music Thursday through Sunday beginning at 4 p.m., going late into the night.
  • The space features contemporary chandeliers and color-changing vaulted ceilings with a hint of rock-and-roll memorabilia.
  • Signature cocktails include house-aged old-fashioneds blended and aged in-house in special oak barrels — a detail worth ordering for.
  • Elevated food standouts include Japanese yellowtail tartare tacos, birria short rib grilled cheese, wagyu skirt steak, and cereal milk ice cream sampler with waffle cones.
  • B Side accepts private-party bookings but notes it does not accommodate very large parties, so contact the team in advance to discuss capacity and setup.

Taxi

For most casino properties, taxis are often the easiest option for main entrance pickup and drop-off. Uber and Lyft may require walking to a designated rideshare area.
